What is so great about Niki Aguirre's work is here obvious and exuberant pleasure in her own imaginative journeying. Her stories have the wide variety of voice and the technical skills you might expect, but her stories, more than that, are just such wonderful yarns. From the first killer paragraph of the opening story, "Flight of the Blackbird", this collection is a real joy.Looking forward to reading a novel by her.
