All I Can Say by Holloway, Geoffrey

Geoffrey Holloway has published two previous collections of verse: `To Have Eyes’ (Anvil, 1972) and `Rhine Jump’ (London Magazine Editions, 1974; a Poetry Book Society Choice). `All I Can Say’ is a wide selection of his poems from many years of writing, diverse in theme and styles but constant in their accuracy of observation and compassion.

Geoffrey Holloway was born in 1918 and served some part of the last war in a parachute field ambulance. In 1977 he married the poet and artist Patricia Pogson.
