Graham Fawcett was born in 1946 and has worked for the Arvon Foundation and in recent years has broadcast regularly on literature and music for BBC Radio 3, who commissioned a verse translation of Dante's `La Vita Nuova' from him. He also teaches creative writing and world literature.
