Banipal showcases contemporary Arab authors in English translation, from wherever they are writing and publishing. An independent and innovative magazine, Banipal's three issues a year, continuous since Spring 1998, are now in a handy book size, with more pages, and present both established and emerging authors through poems, short stories or excerpts from novels.
