Established in September 04, Comma Poetry is a new venture set up to repeat the success of sister publisher Comma Fiction, to discover and promote the best in new British poetry, as well as to support established poets, through anthologies and single poet collections. Its first title is Helen Clare's 'Mollusc' (£6.95), published October 04.

Comma Poetry is not interested in carrying the flame of modernism in the poets it publishes, nor in excluding work because of the schools or traditions that inform it. Comma Poetry will strive to keep in touch with the textures of contemporary experience, without denying the wide, far-reaching context that the craft of poetry always finds itself in.
