About Elastic Press
Elastic Press is a small publishing house that began publishing in 2002 with its first collection The Virtual Menagerie. Dedicated to showcasing the talents of short story writers, Elastic produces high quality, short print-run titles in a variety of genres.
Elastic’s predominant goal is to build bridges for authors who have yet to achieve mainstream publishing recognition. By publishing single-author collections of short stories they hope to raise authors' profiles and consolidate their reputations.
Elastic Press is totally committed to the art of short stories, and also publishes occasional multi-author anthologies. One such title, The Elastic Book of Numbers (edited by Allen Ashley) was voted winner of the British Fantasy Society's 2006 Best Anthology Award.
