For Generations' writers explore the experience of Jewish motherhood, across the spectrum, from the religious to the secular Jewish communities. The editors do not take sides, allowing individual writers their own voice. Whether in the Diaspora or in Israel, maintaining tradition or creating new ritual, here is Judaism in all its diversity being handed on from one generation to the next. She was born to immigrant parents in Brooklyn, New York and now lives in Nottingham, England.
