Security policy

Our Payment Service Provider is Sage Pay (formerly Protx) – the largest independent payment service provider (PSP) in the UK and Ireland. Sage Pay provides a secure payment gateway (Level 1 PCI DSS), processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours. It is Sage Pay’s utmost priority to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way, so when buying through our site, you can be sure that you are completely protected. In addition, you know that your session is in a secure encrypted environment when you see https:// in the web address, and/or when you see the locked padlock symbol alongside the URL.

Sage Pay uses a range secure methods such as fraud screening, I.P address blocking and 3D secure. Once on the Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards.

Sage Pay is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant to the highest level and maintains regular security audits. They are also regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure that their systems are impenetrable.

Terms and Conditions

1. Payment

We accept Visa, Delta, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express and Solo cards. We charge for all orders at the point-of-purchase and will advise you if we cannot supply according to our stated availability. We will always refund your card if we're unable to supply the title you order.

You may 'pre-order' any title that is listed on the site but not yet published. Unfortunately, due to a number of fraud attempts, we have to take payment at the point of purchase for pre-publication orders also. We will contact you if there are any delays to the publication date and will always refund your purchase if the title is not delivered.

We also accept cheques or postal orders (in pounds Sterling). When placing your order, click the pay by cheque or postal order option after filling in your address details, print your order form and then send your payment to the address below made out to Inpress Ltd.

VAT

VAT is charged on most goods and services within the European Union. Books are zero rated in the UK, so you will not pay VAT on any title unless it contains a CD, but there is a VAT charge on postage and packing where it has been applied to your order. 

Orders outside the EU: VAT is not charged on orders with destinations outside the European Union.

2. Stock and Availability

While we do our best to maintain availability of stock, products may go out of stock from time to time and are offered subject to availability. We will advise you of any delay and you will be given the opportunity to select an alternative item or we will refund your purchase.

3. Delivery Information

UK Postage & Packing

Currently, goods shipped within the UK are free of P&P, with the exception of Banipal Magazine - who have requested a small P & P charge within the UK to help cover their costs.

Delivery times:

UK

Subject to availability, items will be despatched as soon as possible after receipt of order. Delivery is usually within two working days of despatch.

Rest of Europe

Subject to availability, items will be despatched as soon as possible after receipt of order. Delivery is usually with 3-5 working days of despatch.

Lost/missing shipments

If in the unlikely event your order does not arrive in a timely fashion, please check whether you have received a calling card from our carriers you may not have been at home when delivery was attempted

Failing that, please contact us quoting your order number and we will attempt to trace your order for you.

4. Returns Policy

Our 'no quibbles' guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days for a refund on purchase price and P & P..

We will also refund your return postage costs if the item is faulty or is being returned because of our error.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Your privacy

At Inpress, we use the information you share with us to process your orders and keep you informed about new titles. If you do not wish to receive communications from us, please check the box on the order form.

We follow strict guidelines set down by the Data Protection Act 1998 and because of this, may require proof of your identity before disclosing sensitive information to you.

We will not sell, rent or share your details with third parties other than Inpress member publishers.
