Kelley Swain is a freelance writer living in London, England. Her first book of poetry, Darwin’s Microscope, will come out in 2009 with Flambard Press. Kelley is currently seeking an agent for her young adult fiction novel, Martin Baudelaire and the Great Spoon Adventure.

She graduated in 2007 with an honours degree in English/Creative Writing and a minor in Environmental Studies, then carried on to complete the Munson Institute for Maritime Studies summer graduate program.

Kelley is currently involved in & continues to seek poetry readings, open mic nights, and science/literature-related events/organisations.

She is involved with the Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment ASLE-UK, the British Society for the History of Science BSHS, and the British Society for Literature and Science BSLS.
