Synopsis
Night Train is a collaboration between acclaimed poet Sean O'Brien and artist Birtley Aris. This beautifully produced book is presented as a poet-artist's sketch-cum-notebook, in which the text as well as the artwork is hand drawn. This is a world of steam-trains, platforms and railway landscapes glimpsed by night, with a buried tale of love and madness. "… a terrific language technician." The Guardian "… the bard of urban Britain." The Times Sean O'Brien's previous titles include: The Drowned Book (2007) and Cousin Coat: New and Selected Poems (2002).
