This is an anthology of poems from the members of the first Poetry Business Writing School (based in Huddersfield), written while on the course. They have also offered personal commentaries on their poems, which give fascinating insights into how each student approached their work, and into the diversity of the creative process as a whole.
The Writing School started in 2002 exclusively for experienced poets, usually with a body of published work. This was very much a writer-led project, involving directed reading, discussion and exchange of work and ideas.
