This is the second volume in the Seren Poets series, which aims to introduce new poets to a wider audience. It follows the pattern set in the first volume, The Bloodstream, of presenting three poets writing in English, and a Welsh language poet in translation for the first time.

Ceri Meyrick edited The Bloodstream and Seren Poets 2 while working for Seren. She now lives in London and works for Carlton television.
