This 96-page novella is the third in Five Leaves’ Crime Express imprint, and it’s one of the best. The Mentalist has an intriguing set up in which stage psychic Harry Gysel predicts the death of an audience member at one of his shows. When that same woman is found murdered, and the girl Gysel spent the night with refuses to corroborate his alibi, things start to get interesting.... Damien Seaman
