Synopsis
Rosemary Norman is not threatening or promising anything. It is human contact itself, between friends, lovers, poets, and enemies personal and political, that is 'full of threats and promises'. In this, her first poetry collection, she writes at the point where fact and feeling meet, often head on, and looks at complex issues through imagery that remains always memorable and clear.
